School Community Council Meeting- Wednesday, May 13, 2026 @ 5:30pm

- Welcome and Approval of April Minutes:
- Isaac Zeigler welcomed the Council and asked for a motion to approve April’s minutes. Krystal Hansen motioned Matthew Toone seconded… unanimous vote to approve
- School Review and Updates
Budgets- Vickie expressed concerns that we would have excess LandTrust/TSSP funds that were not being used and would not carry over to next year. Funds will be utilized and JHS will not lose money to excess carry-over.
Land Trust/TSSP-
- Counseling Center Updates-
- Melissa Jones- working with Seniors for graduation, fees, media center fees, wrap up items, graduation practice mentioned, graduation time discussed, ranges of ACT scores discussed,
- Other Items–
- Dave Barrett- Canvas tech concerns are being resolved, shared new Legacy Stole, thanked the SCC for all of their service,
- Brandie Kafentzis- briefly reviewed graduation plans
- Construction updates- no updates, still on track
