1. Review & Approve April Minutes
   1. Brandie Kafentzis motion to approve, Rachael de Azevedo seconded
   1. Dr Eschler motioned to amend minutes to say “TBD” on first meeting of next year date. M Jones seconded.

   1. Bittersweet to be leaving JHS – has loved the JHS community and students
      1. Last meetings for Bruce and Patrick
      1. Reminder of rule – if have a senior this year (and it’s the last child), then can work on SCC for one more year
   1. Budget reports – TSSA budget still has a clerical error reflected, but is in the process of being fixed in Accounting. Plans for TSSA and Land Trust are done.
   1. Reminder that final graduation rates for 24-25 won’t be updated until November(ish)
   1. Dr Eschler excused early for Boys’ VB and LIA dinner
3. Counseling Center
   1. End of year planning – graduation, cap & gown distribution, etc.
   1. AP testing, deficiencies for 9^th-10^th-11^th grades
   1. Check out the new display cases with graduation, honor cords, and credit recovery (courtesy of Miranda)
   1. Counselor change for next year – Abby moving, Kimberlee Montoya returning
4. Other Items
   1. Kelcey Kemp – intro and plans for looking ahead
      1. Introduction and history
      1. Updates and future planning
         1. Many ideas and hopes for moving forward – legacy graduation, etc.
         1. Legislation passed re cell phones out of classes – districts can determine how that looks
            1. Andrew Edtl is working on a district cellphone policy – waiting for final drafts
            1. BLT is reviewing options but nothing specific decided
         1. Limiting hall passes for next year
            1. Kemp is proposing no hall passes during APP or 1^st/last 20 mins of class
            1. BLT is very supportive – still working on specifics
         1. Maintaining AVID program and hoping to get it more integrated in APP
            1. Intervention time would still be on Tues/Wed
            1. Replace APP with AVID over the next 4 years
            1. Goal of having same APP teacher for all 4 years
         1. Driving guide: “Does it help students?”
            1. If yes, let’s do it. If no, let’s fix it to help students or we don’t do it.
