Jordan High School Teacher and Student Success Plan and Land Trust Overview for 2021-22
Current TSSP Academic Goal: Increase the graduation rate by 1% from the 2021 rate or reach 93%, whichever is higher.
Current TSSP School Climate Goal: Increase the number of students who report they feel connected to one or more adults at the school by 5% as measured by a survey administered in the fall of 2021 and again in the spring of 2022.
Land Trust allocations at a glance
● Last year (2020-21), the SCC funded the following out of Land Trust funds:
o Reading classes
o AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) classes
o Secondary I and II math classes
o ELD (English Language Development) classes and co-taught classes for ML (multi-lingual) students
o An instructional aide for our ML (multi-lingual) students
o Half of a counseling position
● This year (2021-22), the SCC is funding the following out of Land Trust funds:
o AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) classes
o Secondary I and II math classes
o ELD (English Language Development) classes
o Instructional aides for our ML (multi-lingual) students

o Stipends for teachers working on the Advisory Committee

Funding Summary for 2020-21 Land Trust and TSSA Budgets
● The JHS SCC approved $248,000 for Land Trust and $232,000 for TSSA in the 2021-22 school year.
● Most recent projections indicate JHS will be allocated $271,200 for Land Trust and $254,832 for TSSA for the 2020-21 school year. If these projections bear out, we will have to decide how to spend an additional $46,032 this year toward our TSSP goals.
