January Meeting Minutes

• All is well, thanks to transparency
a. Budgets
• Continue to update with changes, more info by next meeting
• FTE cuts, federal funding due to needs will be less, losing a counselor, will not lose CTE, CE, and more demand for Fine Arts
• Next year celebrate Jordan with positivity, how to improve image in community, updating website,
possible ROTC- RTC and Cadets, Booster Club? More info to Sandy Journal for PR
• Question: How do we get more district support? Attend a Board meeting? Communication department to represent different schools?
What kind of support is available? What can we ask for? Building neglected and run down, locks on bathroom doors not working, community visitors
using/renting facility
• TVs in gyms, new marque by next year,
• Question: Who will be in our 4A Division? UHSAA website given
• Teen Center update-already have pantry and clothing closet, will add shower area, laundry facilities, and education center

• Allocated $6,000 to offset counselor hours, district will now cover it

4. Counseling Center Updates Counselor
• 10th grade CCRs during Social Studies-Canvas Course
• ACT-went smooth, only 87/470 ish, did not take it, make up day is tomorrow, first time online, can check scores on Data Gateway website
