JHS School Community Council Meeting

- Welcome SCC Vice-Chair- Erica Brown- call to order
- Review and Approval of October Meeting Minutes- Jack Hyer motioned to approve Melissa Jones seconded, motion approved unanimously
- Update on JHS Improvements- Kelcey Kemp discussed schedule of construction and rennovations, Krystal Hansen indicated that bathrooms lacked feminine products, Mr. Kemp indicated that he would look into the matter.
- Review/Updates- Kelcey Kemp reviewed Early Warning System (EWS) data and school goals with regard to attendance, ODRs, suspensions, Fs and Ds, GPA progress, etc.

- TSSP (Teacher Student Success Plan)-not discussed
- Counseling Center Updates- Melissa Jones- scheduling CCR meetings, sent out deficiency notices, senior bulletins coming up after Thanksgiving, cards will be finalized in January, Advanced Academic Night coming up, Digger Fair preparations in progress
- School Safety Plan- Jason Long/Officer Ballard- PowerPoint presentation, Mr. Long presented Emergency Drill schedule, discussed panic buttons, door magnets, random safety checks, Bleed Kits, Safety Specialists roles and responsibilities, open bathroom advantages, exterior lights, camera upgrades, baseball warning track, school guardians, etc.
- Isaac moved to adopt school safety plan, Matthew Toone seconded plan adopted unanimously.
- Other Items: SCC Bylaws adopted with Isaac motioning to adopt, Krystal seconded, motion approved unanimously.
- Motion to Adjourn: Isaac motioned, Elizabeth seconded, adjourned with unanimous vote at 6:34pm.
